Microsoft Office 2010 now available to Consumers! - GroupOne Consulting, Inc.

I might have already tweeted about this a day or two ago, but I wanted to be sure that I posted this to our website along with a link that explains more. Welcome Office 2010 which we have been using inhouse since the Beta hit the web late Novemeber I believe. A few notes regarding Office 2010:

If you are an Outlook power-user you will find the new grouping feature in Outlook 2010 to be such a time saving tool when working with e-mail threads.

The ribbon toolbar at the top hasnt changed much which is great for training reasons. If you were familiar with the ribbon in Office 2007 then 2010 will be an easy transition. Microsoft has now standardized all of their Office products with the new ribbon. From Word to Excel, Power Point, Sharepoint Designer, and Project to name a few. This will greatly reduce the learning curve when it comes to using these applications.Here is a link to some of the changes:
